Default Kind of Interesting Turn Spot

Villain seems pretty bad (40 7ish, overvalues hands postflop).

    Seat 3: HERO ( $492.75 USD )
    Seat 2: AL18AL ( $64.35 USD )
    Seat 5: Doeks111 ( $210.19 USD )
    Seat 4: Verichip ( $263.50 USD )
    Seat 1: bakkki1 ( $202 USD )
    Seat 6: youngr50 ( $200 USD )
Doeks111 posts small blind [$1 USD].
    bakkki1 is sitting out
AL18AL posts big blind [$2 USD].

    ** Dealing down cards **

    Dealt to HERO

    bakkki1 has left the table.
    HERO raises [$7 USD]
    Verichip folds.
    Doeks111 calls [$6 USD]
    AL18AL folds.

    ** Dealing Flop **

    Doeks111 bets [$11 USD]
    HERO raises [$41 USD]
    Doeks111 calls [$30 USD]

    ** Dealing Turn **

    Doeks111 bets [$62 USD]
HERO... (pot is 150ish, villain has 100ish behind)
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

looks like he has two pair/set, so i doubt you have any F.E.

I think calling the turn bet would be okay against someone who will probably call a push even if a 3rd heart hits, though folding would be better if you think he might fold if a 3rd heart came on the river.

This guy is obviously an uberdonk who may not even be able to beat a pair of aces. I would just move all-in and hope he can't call.

I don't think you have any FE, so fold.

Just fold you have no FE and you may have only 3 outs.

    No hindsight for the blind.
I think we can call and get it in if we hit and the board doesn't pair.

    Some math;
If we always fold when the board pairs, then we have 10 outs = 21.7%.
Pot odds are 62/222 = 27.9%, so we'll have to look at the implied.
He has 100$ left, which he has to call off [62/(222+100x)=0.217] ---> x = 63.7% of the time for us to break even. With the description that he overvalues his hands postflop I tend to think that he'll call off 100$ in a 322$ pot on the river more than that even if the obvious flush comes.

Also, we'll get to check behind and win the showdown some amount of the time when the board pairs, but I'm thinking we can then probably stick the last 100 in for value pretty safely?

All in all I think it's kinda marginal but a call is good.

I think I might like a flop call better than a raise against the described villain.

How do we not call the turn here? He's not folding is a heart hits the river he's way too pot committed. I agree to not raise though I really don't think we see a fold.

does a 40/7 who overvalues hands (made hands i assume) really bet a draw here ever? i think this is a fairly easy fold.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

I would fold as played. I often like to flat call the donk bet on the flop and raise the turn if I pick up additional outs.

it would have been a much easier decision had I known he had a hand as big as

this seems a bit loose pf. i think i'd just fold to the turn bet although you're close to getting implied odds to call if he'll pay you off. generally against bad players i'd just call on the flop and make them pay when you hit...

i wouldnt be so sure he could fold J9 even if you pushed the turn...

He would probably fold J9 on a heart river though. If I knew his cards, my easy turn decision would be a fold.

ya i shoved like a wacko and got snap-called

when i saw his cards I was like wtf but then I thought about it a little more and figured it was kinda standard.
