Default Kings no good (I suck)

Let me know if I am a superfish moron unable to play overpairs correctly. Keep in mind I raise a wide range often so it's not like they know I have an overpair I can't lay down.

This guy NEVER leads into me after my pfr. He was a very loose calling station so I didn't want to jack the pot up anyway. That's why I just called him down.

1 - I'm stacked here most times too

2 - check behind on river, if you're compelled to bet because you think he has JJ/QQ, fold to the re raise. But just check.

3 - especially given stack size this seems OK

4 - You can't slow play that flop - because they will call is not a reason to let people draw for free, it is the reason you charge them too much. you beat a bluff on the river and nothing else. almost always, opp has FD or J here. with occasional 89 that also beats you

    1. 3-bet pf, although the occasional smooth call is fine. I think I'd probably get stacked here too, but looking at this hand in isolation, I think you should fold to the turn C/R. Do you really think he does this with JJ/QQ (or worse)?

    2. Don't lose $125 on this river.

    3. Fine.

    4. I'd raise this flop. You're probably ahead but this board is terrifying. As played, fold the river. If you weren't already beat, the J paired and the draw got there and you are behind the vast majority of the time. *What does he think you have? Why is he making what looks to be a value bet?

I needed to post these so I don't make the same bonehead plays again. I had a very frustrating 1.5 weeks at B2B where these hands happened and my eagerness to "get back to even" had me salivating when I saw AA/KK and overplaying them. That compounded my losing streak. Nothing I did worked. I hit a tiny percentage of sets when holding PPs and got outdrawn by gutshots once when I set AA and once when I set TT. I did make some great laydowns with KK that saved me some money. Frustrating. And that's at 200NL which I moved to a couple weeks ago. The thing is the quality of players don't seem that much better. That's why I didn't move down. Thanks for the comments - I agree with what you point out. I just ignored logic on most of them.

I'm going to Party tonight. Party + Friday = Upswing? We'll see.

    1) Edit: misread the action. Yeah, I'd probably lose my stack here too. And I'd 3-bet pf almost everytime as well, since my 3-betting range otb is not exactly small. Plus by calling you are really encouraging the blinds to see a cheap flop.

    2) I'd consider checking this turn behind. I think you should check the river also. Sure it's nice to get a valubet from A-high or 7x or pp, but w/o a read I'd probably check. But I am also a sucker for thin value-bets, so I don't really blame you. As played, you have to fold to the river cr. Do you really think he's shoving his last 75 on a busted draw or stone-bluff with just about zero fold equity? Although you're getting great pot odds, I think this is a fold.

    3) fine

    4) I'd raise the flop unless you know this guy loves to lead with sets. Board is very draw heavy with a ton of scare cards that can come for you on the turn. You really want to take it down asap. As played, I think your line is okay, although a fold on the turn or river could be debated. How often do you think he's firing 3 times into the pfr with less than KK? Reads would really help here, at least some stats.

I don't think hand #1 is an "i get destacked everytime here" hand. You represent that you have at least a pair of tens on the flop and when you bet on the turn he represents that he can beat a pair of tens. This is foldable when he checkraises you on the turn. Yeah they're only 4s on the board that paired, but he clearly hit part of the flop, and from the turn I think its clear he hit the 4. I'm not saying I fold this everytime but you can definitely get away from this one.
