I would raise on the turn for the possibility he can also fold.
Betting out instead of calling gives you one additional way to win.
Do you think an NL 25 unknown will lay down a hand on the turn that has me beat (which will either be a set, two pair or an ace)?

I play at Paradise (5 handed tables $10-$25) and I have seen alot people call a preflop raise and bluff at it if it came out all low rags. I have even tried this trick on occasion.

I think after reading this with a clear head I am not sure how I would have played this hand... (Raise/re-raise for info, fold otherwise)

But I am pretty sure I would not call it down...
Too hard to say without a feel for the table or other reads.
