    No hindsight for the blind.

Default KQ w/130BBs OOP minraised on QJx flop, line check (2/4)

Hansa Poker 2.00/4.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

    Button ($475.00)
    Hero ($513.60)
    BB ($447.00)
    UTG ($263.10)
    UTG+1 ($1121.32)
    CO ($526.65)

Preflop: Hero is in the SB with Q K
2 folds, CO calls 4.00, 1 fold, Hero raises to 18.00, BB calls 16.00, CO calls 16.00.

    Flop (60.00) Q 3 J
Hero bets 44.00, 1 fold, CO raises to 88.00, Hero calls 44.00.

    Turn (236.00) K
Hero checks, CO bets 56.00, Hero raises to 250.00, CO calls 194.00.

    River (736.00) 4
    Hero moves all-in for 155.60

Villain is 51/17/pretty aggressive, no good read on him besides the fact that he's obviously not the greatest player around. Plan on the flop was pretty much to check/call down unless I improved. Is this a reasonable plan against lagfish?

On the turn there's 230$ in the pot and 405$ left to bet - after spiking top two I should be committed versus this guy when there are lots of worse 2p hands and pair+GS hands, right?

I don't really like my c/r, since he could check back so many pair+draw hands, I'm thinking lead for 165-ish, call shove is better, shoving non T/A rivers if he flat calls? At the table I just thought "he's so aggro, let's c/r ai". Then he makes a supersmall bet, and though it scares me a little Im just not letting go of this hand vs this guy. Raise size okay? Perhaps just stick it all in on the turn to try and rep a semibluff since I'm committed anyway?

    i would raise more preflop.

i would probably lead like half the pot on the turn to tarp, and i especially would have if i knew that he liked this gay betsizing.

i don't think this guy is going to check on the turn behind if we check more often than he is going to bet, and if he were to raise our turn lead i would be nervous. Bad players who aren't maniacs usually call/fold turn leads if they are holding a draw or weak made hand. I would just check/raise all in on the turn, which makes your hand look a little more like a draw and give him the opportunity to hero call with MP or something.

lotsa options and vs a villain with a very wide range here it's not gonna make a huge difference either way

it s a lame reply but without a detailed read it's pretty much just a gamble

51/17 who limp-calls a ton of hands in position and is kinda aggro postflop minraises you = QJ, Qx, Jx, T9, AT, 33

you check-raise (ooh scary!) when str8 completes on turn and he calls (but doesn't shove!) means str8 is unlikely unless he picked up a FD to go with it. So assuming he doesn't have exactly 9hTh or AhTh we can assume he's scared you have 9T but he prob won't fold.

so his made hands of 333, QJ, KJ are much more likely than 9T and you're doing so/s0 vs this range since you already know 2 of the K's and Q's are already out of the deck.

Just ship that range into p stove and if you like variance and are ahead then shove. I don't think it's a huge edge but I haven't run the #s. Lotsa variance to this one...
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
