Default lesson in how to bugger up the nut draw

this is not a very interesting hand, but its a common situation, and i dont know what line to take. i butchered this, i only won 116 bucks, and its been bugging me so much so that i want to kill my dog dennis (poor dennis gets some stick)

id like to know what line you guys take to maximise profits here, especially on the turn.

i know i should have bet more on the flop , say 38 instead of 28 to try to bulge the pot, but do you bet the turn, if you do, what do you do if he check raises you.

the turn the turn the turn please folks, what do you do on the turn

I usually bet the flop and turn, but I have a tight image and get a lot of respect.

Basically, betting the turn depends on a lot of things.
Is you opponent tight, loose, calling station or what?
Does he or she call a lot of flops and fold a lot of turns?

If you have a lot of fold equity, then betting the turn is +EV.

    No hindsight for the blind.
I play it the same with no read (except as you said a bigger flop bet).
