villian is pretty weak tight 15/4/3 almost limp calling decent hands and aggro postflop. has been betting around 1/2 pot on most streets with top pair and 2 pair hands and folding to most of my c-bets.

At this point its a fold for me but was the line bad the whole way?

you played the hand very well so far, why do you think the river is a fold?

Fairly sure this is a call. He's no more likely to have the straight now than he was on the flop, and he only backdoors the flush occassionally. With the pot odds you dont need to be right that often.

I thought fold at this point because I was so confused about what hand could check call first to streets and make a pretty big bet on the river and all i could come up with was the straight. I couldn't really see any of the hands I beat betting here unless they were trying to blocking with that river bet. I had also been very aggro on this table so thought he was letting me valuetown myself. Do you think this is overpairs, 2 pairs and bluffs enough of the time to make this call?

If he was letting you value town yourself he's much more likely to c/r river. All he's doing now is getting you to fold your bluffs.

if he is weak tight as you say, he could be c/calling your aggression with TPGK and donking the river to make sure you don't check thru at the sight of the 3flush. for this price i would call. then again, i'm not up to 50nl yet so maybe i'm just exposing a big leak in my game.

I think you need a super tight read to fold this, your hand is just too strong imo. The reasoning is that he's a fish, and fish do weird things that nobody understands.

price is too good and he could be blocking with 1 pair hands

the only way you can consider folding this imo is if he check-raises the river or open shoves the river.
