All 3 of these are pretty big.

I have a very similar thing happening to me right now actually.

Variance is a big part of it. But I think mostly is that when you're winning consistently, you feel invincible and that you can beat anyone, and you don't really look at your game enough. You don't try improving, but everyone else is improving in the meantime.

Only when you're losing do you stop to think that something is wrong. Which is probably not the best way to go about thigns.

Games are definitely getting harder as well, or at least on my site.
