Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K.

why call pre, to keep in the call station? it's risky, and i think i'd just rereraise and keep things simple
as played I would put in the rest on the turn (for value/protection)

No reraise because I have been picking up a ton of cbets by calling in position, in this hand I failed to account for the fish...

without looking att he flop, i think i still reraise preflop. Sure it makes our hand obvious to a TAGG but if the fish has a tendancy to call we may force him into a really bad play.

Flop isnt pretty for kings, and i dont know if i like a raise as the only hands calling have us beaten right?

considering fish looks like he has a pp by calling preflop you have to four bet. To whatever you want, I actually prefer to make it like 35, leaving you a pot sized bet on any flop.

Why is everyone so anal about 4 betting all of the time? Is this because people cant fold overpairs?

the nits in the stars game at these limits just cant fold QQ/AK preflop to this action IMO.

This is what I did, sort of. I pushed becuase I thought BB either had AK or was ready to fold. I was correct he folded, the fish called with QQ. After thinking about this hand I go broke here everytime. If I 4bet I might get the BB out, but the fish will never fold their QQ monster. I think my push was bad???? Any opinions...

if you make the next raise preflop, does fish push?
that would be perfect, and we never think of folding king to a fish anyway.

So we basically trash the chances of being paid off by every other hand in there range?

I like the idea of smooth calling when it's heads up, but 3 way, now you have two hands to out flop, and the call station will give better odds to draw for BB.
maybe you can get some more value, but you give up equity from pre flop by keeping it 3 way and holding off putting in more $ for the flop and turn.
that's what I mean by 4betting makes it more simple here, but I don't think it always is the best move.

I think that it just comes down to one thing when you are playing against fish who can't put down Q's. PUSH preflop. Yes he might of won that hand but long term you will always come out on top. It might also even get a fish to lay down his AK. If he doesn't he still is in a world of hurt.

pf is fine. 4-betting is also fine. As played, gotta bet turn.
