So this guy says I am stupid for pushing in on a draw, but I disagree. Poker is a game which involves already big made hands, and big draws. This time the draw won, I wanted to get him a nice cup of STFU as he complained perpetually. I told him diamonds are forever and hearts get broken, he said he wanted to do something vury bad to my mother.
    Your opinions?

Oh by the way I finished 4th @ the freeroll on Empire yesterday. 5 1/2 hrs...Dear Lord...

I think you were getting about 3:1 on your money so it wasn't that bad of a play.

I was on the receiving end of a similar situation last night. I flopped a straight and bet it $5 in a .5/1 NL ring game...I get reraised by the guy to $11 he is all in...I call he has A-2s and flopped nothing but 3 to a flush and caught runner-runner spades to beat me. I did not say a word, but took great satisfaction busting him out 6-10 hands later when he turned a flush that made my full house. In the end perhaps he was trying to bluff...but I can't imagine bluffing your whole stack with no hand and 3 to a straight staring you in the face. In your case Triptanes, you were getting pretty good odds to chase that last diamond....nice catch.

ok flop play, horrible turn play

for semibluff to be effective, you should be getting some folding equity.

no way someone's folding in his situation, after investing so much in the pot.

your odds of hitting flush is not even 20%.

I don't believe it was a smart play but instead a lucky win. However, I think complaining about chasers and being rude to them is just stupid and a poorer play in general. They're the ones who may luckily catch something %10 of the time but that other 90% is good money for the other player.

Guy who made his stragiht called a three dollar bet on an inside straight draw. My flush draw was more likely to come out. I imagine a raise on the flop might have scared him out. Thanks for the comments.
