Default My Luck Graph, and Multi-Tabling

I took and couple of months off Poker, and cashed out most of my roll to spend in the real world. I then came back, rebuilt it, got my head around PokerEV, and above is my luck graph since I've started playing again.

    1. A few days ago I read a forum post (I can't remember if it was here or on 2p2) where someone was talking about 57 million-tabling or something ridiculous like that. Someone responded with an EV graph showing an increase where they'd cut down. For what it's worth, I used to 9 to 12-table and I hit some hard times. Because I have a small roll which I'm rebuilding I was forced to cut down to 4 tables. In the above graph that happened around hand 32K. The increase speaks for it's self.

    2. What do you make of that graph? To me it looks like I'm running horrible, but then again I've got nothing to compare it to. Maybe this is just what they look like? Is it standard, horrible, good? I've been coolered in that sample an uncommon amount of times as well, how does that factor in?

"I took *a* couple of months" rather.

    No hindsight for the blind.
#1 is just stupid. Increasing number of tables will probably increase your swings because it will probably lower your winrate (in $/hand not $/hour). It won't affect your "all-in luck" whatsoever. How the cards are dealt after you are all-in doesn't change if you're playing one or twelve tables, unless of course you're using only one deck .

#2: you're running bad in all-in spots. That is all the info you can get from that graph. It doesnt factor in coolers, how good you get the money in in the first place, or tell you anything other than your equity in the pots and the actual results.

Re: #1 - My expected winnings go up is what I mean though. I was obviously making much better decisions with fewer tables, or am I misunderstanding the program completely?

Re: #2 - What I mean is how ugly does that graph look? I've never seen anyone else's, so I'm just wondering if that made you go "Wow this guy is running the worst!", or "Eh, looks about normal". Am I running a touch bad, or v. bad?

...I have no point of reference.

that doesnt seem like the luck graph from pokerEV. The All In Luck graph should have way fewer hands on it unless thats like a 1 million hand sample. So pretty much this is just an EV graph without the showdown hands line.

I loaded hands etc, clicked the 'Luck Graphs' tab, and clicked the 'All ins with total winnings' radio button. What does this graph tell us then?

i think what your graph shows is "All ins with total winnings". you need to click "just all ins" instead.

Bode: Yeah, okay. What I meant was what does this tell me about my game, but don't worry.

your graph is most likely telling you that you arent aggro enough. what is your W$WSF? i would guess its like 36-37% and your not picking up enough small pots with aggression.

that graph just means you play low stakes and the majority of your winnings are from fish giving you implied odds situations to take advantage of. Because of this you are losing money in non showdown pots but making money overall.

i really dont like this software for calculating ev. on top of what halvsame said, we can win two felted coin flips and lose three felted flush draws and be down one buy in according to pt but be even in equity according to pokerev

so even if it tells us if we're running good or bad on equity after all in, it's still not accurate
