    Another hand I played weak.
Villain is loose, like 50/12 and passive. Despite his passiveness, he pushed over my c-bet earlier for an extra $15 and I folded my whiffed overs.

    Hero ($49.25)
    SB ($49.50)

    UTG ($35.15)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
1 fold, MP calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Hero raises to $3, 2 folds, MP calls $2.50, CO calls $2.50.

    Flop: ($9.75) , , (3 players)
MP checks, CO checks, Hero bets $7, MP calls $7, CO folds.

    Turn: ($23.75) (2 players)

hand one...dont you need to bet flop harder here? i know you like 2/3, but dont the possibilities call for psb here? i bet $6 trying to take it here. however, on turn, i dont normally fold sets. but, to this board and a psb, i get ticked i didnt pot the flop...and fold. you still beat a lot of hands, but this is a strong signal, imo.

hand two...again, i prolly pot the flop. but, after that i play as you did. how can you fold that weak ass river bet? i dont expect to win the hand, but i pay off 5:1 w/o a thought when i have top two.

No one said never fold a set. Just don't fold one on the flop, folding on a gross turn like that is fine.

Hand 1 I call if you had deeper stacks or a smaller bet from villain to look for the board to pair

    hand 2 is fine

You still have to call the turn on hand 1 especially in position.

    Hand 2 i bet/fold 16 on turn.

what about hand 1 when you call his psb, and he pots river? or even 1/2's it? do you call that, too? if not, why would you call the turn?

what do you do on river, in hand 2, when he only calls your turn bet?

I have a hard time putting him on an 7 or a Q, but I don't feel I can risk $15 here on a 1/5 chance that I hit a full house in a $30 pot. I think his lead looks bluffy/fishy here, what do you guys think of this sudden strong lead out?
