    Default Not this again :(

    No reads.

If by the end of the last betting round of this hand I have no chips on the felt in front of me, is that a bad thing?

    $0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
    6 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG yergeau ($41.30)
    UTG+1 lilswan ($50.90)
    CO Hero ($58.25)
    BTN TehBox87 ($50.00)
    SB ehle123 ($50.00)
    BB nogutznonutz ($66.75)

    Pre-flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is CO
2 folds, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, nogutznonutz calls $1.50

    Flop: ($4.25, 2 players)
nogutznonutz checks, Hero bets $4, nogutznonutz raises to $10, $6 to Hero ($52.25)?

I couldn't tell you the frequency I cbet this flop but it's probably like 50/50 and if I did cbet it'd be like $2.75ish because that's my cbet on a 1-high card dry board, you're bloating a pot here in a spot that's going to be difficult to get three streets of value from worse hands.

Agree with Spenda except about not c-betting this flop 100% of the time. I would fold now as weak as that seems.

Edit: Don't fold, thought he was a reg to you. Call and see how desperate he wants to get money in on the turn.

    Yeah, this is a way ahead/behind board against a non-fish. c-bet smaller.

That said, you got to use your judgement here. Worse Aces doen't usually play like this online for reasonable stakes.

cbet smaller, probs call the c/r and fold to a significant turn bet.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

This, although I like the cbet size vs an unknown, because if he calls I'm more than willing to bet-bet-shove this (b/f from the turn on I guess).

The reason why someone might take a fold into consideration is that you have a one pair hand without any redraws. So if you want to win this at showdown you'll have to have a pretty good read on your opponent that he's capable of c/r'ing worse A's/bluffs here.

With that said I still call and pay off weakish bets and fold to big bets.
