    Default Odd river spot

Villain runs at 21/12/11. I don't think the aggression can be right as I swear I've played with him before and his agg. factor was more like a 3. Other stats are about right. He's not familiar with me as I'm playing under a different name. I just missed my chance to bet at this table and timed out, so as a result I checked as the default action by the site. I sat back in immediately so his turn bet wasn't an attempt to get me to insta-fold.

    $0.50/$1 No Limit Holdem
    4 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    Hero ($102.20)
    BTN ($158.95)
    SB ($138.80)
    BB ($156.70)

    Pre-flop: ($1.5, 4 players) Hero is CO
Hero bets $3, 1 fold, SB calls $2.50, 1 fold

    Flop: ($7, 2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks

    Turn: ($7, 2 players)
SB bets $4, Hero calls $4.

    River: ($15, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, SB bets $30, Hero folds

    Final Pot: $53

    SB wins $51.45 ( won $14.45 )
    Hero lost -$15.00

What the hell is this? It makes no sense. All I'd think he could have is A7 or 44 trying to get tricky if he put me on a flush draw. I think trips have too much to be afraid of and I think a flush has too much to be afraid of as well to attempt a c/r. But I really don't see people c/r the river ever as a bluff unless they're a random spaztard.

I dunno, anyone ever make the call against such a bizarre line? Did my small bet induce more than a loose call? He didn't take a long time to make his river raise.

ok. i thought the paragraph at the bottom was supposed to be the set up.

idk his line makes no sense at all. i have no clue why he would risk a c/r with a 7, because thus far youve been very passive. or with any hand for that matter. the more i think about this the more i want to call actually.

Yeah you're exactly where I was at in the hand. Maybe I'd read too many hero call HH's with Q high that I figured how could I not make one with toppest pair.
