I don't call the flop raise. Pelion is pretty nitty (at least, he was playing pretty nitty this morning), and almost certainly has a pretty huge hand here. I think that if you make a habit out of trying to bluff tight players when they're showing huge strength, you won't do well at this game.

probaly shouldn't show the river card if you want turn advice. I don't, If I have both draws on the flop, maybe. But the turn is hard. I haven't hit too many combo draws lately so I'm a little bitter.

Yeah, I've never played him in a cash game before, so I have no real reads on him. I was also playing fairly loose.

He's most likely really strong and not folding. But you can call any reasonable bet on the turn, because if you hit a straight or flush he'll probably have to call a reasonable bet on the river. Just beware if the board pairs.

Unraised pot and he raises you? I just muck the flop. Could be a straight or any set.

Phffft...he wants to play a big hand. If I hit I'm getting paid.

if you bet $12 and he makes it $40, than it would be $28 to call $74, and you are about 29% to win vs a set

You think im stacking off with top set when theres a 1 card straight out there? I thought i was a nit.

FWIW I think you are either behind to a made hand and are hoping I am drunk enough to stack off when you hit, or you are drawing to a split at best.

    Obv. the turn changes things.

I didn't know you were a nit until today.

I enjoyed playing with you and mcatdog, btw. Not sure if playing with FTRers is +EV, but it's definitely fun.

yea it was fun. pretty sure its more fun having a 60/30 bad LAG in that seat instead though
