OOP Flush draw, common line?
Hey guys,
I was just wondering if this flush draw line OOP is common. Ive been noticing it quite a bit the last few days, by either calling the river bet or having villain show me their bluffs.
The line i'm talking about is villain checking on the flop to the PF raiser, and check calling the flop and turn bets with their flush draw, before leading out into the PF raiser on the river when their flush draw misses.
for example:
Cryptologic
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter
Stack sizes:
UTG: $121.75
UTG+1: $70.50
Hero: $158.12
Button: $50.50
SB: $96
BB: $43.50
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises to $5, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls.
Flop: ($11.5, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $8.75, UTG+1 calls.
Turn: ($29, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $15.75, UTG+1 calls.
River: ($60.5, 2 players)
UTG+1 is all-in $41, Hero calls.
Results:
Final pot: $142.5
UTG+1 shows :Tc:
Hero shows :Jh: :Ad:
I feel like this might be a common line for missed draws... I feel like a donk that I'm just noticing this now at 100NL if thats the case..
