Party $200+15 SNGs...what is the skill level?

I've been crushing the $50s lately, and even better in a limited number of $100s. I seem to do better at 50/100 SNGs then at lower levels(which I'm still beating), at least so far. I think the extra 200 chips combined with the recently added 75/100 level gives you a little more room to play. I'm actually quite surprised at how bad the play is at 50/100 SNGs. I can't understand how people can afford to play so badly at these stakes. Anyway, with some recent success I'm now close to being BRed for the $200 SNGs(have about 17 buyins). I normally play anywhere from about 9pm(EST) to noon, more on weekends, a few lunch hours thrown in. I still play mostly 50s, but I'm slowly playing more 100s. I single table for now.

For those of you that play the $200s at Party, how does the competition rate? Just slightly better then 50/100, or a significant step up? Any specific tips/comments about these stakes?

Good to know...guess I'll stick to 50/100s for a bit longer and build the 'ol BR. Wonder why there's such a huge difference between 100s and 200s?

There's no stake higher than 215s on the party network.

True, but you would still think the 109s would be somewhat close to that level, and it doesn't sound like they are. I'm content at 55 or 109 for now. May venture up if I'm having a good run to see how I stack up. As big as PP is I wonder if they'll offer some higher limit SNGs soon.

On pacific these are soft--I've only played 5 of them, but they have been down to 3 players before the blinds reached 100 3 of the 5 games and the other two with blinds 200 (ie I haven't needed to be in pushfold mode ever! )...but then I rarely play these so I may just have been fortunate.
The biggest difference to me is that at top 3 these get tougher (all 3 are usually solid).

What does that mean? Please excuse my ignorance...

And what do you mean by having to have more than 17buy ins to play sng's? I'm aware what SNG's are fyi...I just don't understand the point you're tyring to make..

Again, thanks for the translation. I'm starting to get very interested in the various SNG's. I'm very tight with my dough thus I've been messing with the Step tournaments often.

They still play mostly 215s with rakeback since you cant get party rakeback.

Even the 200 players say that the 100s arent a cakewalk. You must be really good at push folding.

Your going to need a lot more than 17 buyins if u want to play the high levels. Something more like 25 - 30 if you want to play at the 200s.

yes 215 = 200 prizepool + 15 rake.

I've only played 8 109s, 3 1sts, 2 3rds, 3 OOTM. So obviously not enough too judge much yet. I just noticed the ones I entered there was some extremely bad play. I have played probably at least 200 55s, and I seem to be improving lately thus why I've ventured up for an occasional 109. If I did play a 215 it would just be an occasional thing for now and only if my BR was steadily rising. Now I'm thinking just concentrate on the 55 and 109 for now and see if I can maintain some consistency. Probably have enough to focus on 109s(about 32x buy-in) if I choose that, but I'll mix the two for now.
