It is hard to tell how good of a player someone is just by looking at their stats. One of the biggest winners at the 10-20 NL game on Party (before it was closed to US players) was a guy who played close to 50% of his hands. That being said, MOST players who are as loose and aggressive as you are, are very tough to play against, but they don't win much money. No one ever believes they have anything, so when they're getting good hands, they often build up a huge stack of chips. But they don't know how to slow down when they're not getting good hands and no one believes them, so they lose a lot of money in that case. I think you're probably doing a lot of things right and you'd be doing better if you folded a few more of the garbage hands that you're playing. But I'd have to see some more actual hands to know for sure if that's good advice.
Good luck and stick around.
Hey mcatdog,
I think alot of loose/semiloose -aggressive players loose so much money because of the inevitable swings of playing this style. However they can be reduced by such things as minimizing borderline decisions, which are defiantly -EV in the long run.
There are two parts of my game im working really hard on at the moment, one of which is the borderline decisions, and i must say im experiecing alot less loss over my bad runs then i did several months ago. Where my profits over 3/6-5/10 were huge, but my losses were as big and bigger at times.
