    I think its fine.

You aren't that bad vs his range, since most reraising ranges from the blinds in stealing situations are generally pretty wide, especially against you whom I assume is pretty laggy in position.

Plus you have position on him.

I really don't know. It's tough to float in a reraised pot, probably -EV given your read.

So you'll have to outflop or flop a decent draw enough to make this a good call. I don't know how to solve this mathematically, but my guess is it's marginally +EV with these effective stacks (if your postflop skills are ok).

You have pot odds against anything but 88+. The worse pot odds (i.e, he has KK) the better the implied odds (max 15:1 since he is less likely to fold).

88 or 99 or AKd would be bad.

That seems like one heck of a calculation.. which I'll make some day, but not now lol.

What's so bad about AKd? Rarely will a flush draw even be flopped HU when you both have diamonds.

I think this is okay given the stack sizes + position. Probably marginally +EV or -EV, depending on how both of you play postflop.

Then again, I think playing in reraised pots w/ marginal hands is a weakness for me...

For the record I generally don't call this reraise with the suited connector. You raised from the button so his reraising range is probably pretty wide and your implied odds are smaller. On the other hand he probably has a weaker hand that you can push off of on the flop more often. It's good for metagame though.

agreed bout meta game. don t like it hu though.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

The biggest benefit from this could be that it will stop people reraising you so often.

As for the EV, I'm not sure. I think it could be marginally negative.
