Pushing aside old habits
Ever since I've been following this site's poker strategies I've been winning money and losing money. I haven't quite broken my debt, but I am fairly close and highly confident I can do it. I will give an example of my problem. Let's say I deposit $20 into a poker website. I play pretty smart, following FTR strategies and a mix of my own. I double, and sometimes triple my bank account, and that is where my old beginner holdem habits begin to kick in and I start playing second-place hands that lose me alot of money. After awhile of trying to play "god", I eventually lose most, or ALL of my money, adding to my poker debt which is hovering around -$30. Can anyone give me some helpful tips on how to play persistent poker? I know I can be very profitable once I can shake this setback. Anyone have any tips they share to help them stay strategically sound? Thanks
