Default Q9s in BB to button raise

I just sat down, no read on villain. The slightly more than pot sized/slightly less than 4xBB button open looks weird to me, but I don't know what to make of it.

I don't mind folding PF, but it seems like a hand enough potential to at least see a flop with (or should I not when it's HU?).

Do you lead out a donk bet here and fold to resistance? Check/raising seems spewy without a read that he raises ATC on the button. Check/calling doesn't feel right, either.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    saw flop|saw showdown

    UTG ($14.60)
    MP ($56.80)
    CO ($31.45)
    Button ($49.90)
    SB ($23.65)
    Hero ($25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, Q.
3 folds, Button raises to $0.9, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.65.

    Flop: ($1.90) 9, 3, 3 (2 players)
    Hero ??

fold pre if you don't have a read. Playing OOP with a weak holding sucks

It makes life easier for us on later streets. We probably have the best hand. However it's voulnerable so we bet to protect it. Also, by betting we narrow down villains range somewhat (if we check and he bets it gives us no info but costs us the same) which makes turn play easier. The avarage 25NL player isn't aggro enough for us to see a raise here that often.

All other lines suck IMO. check/calling leaves the initiative to him with a lot of potential scary turn cards.

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
if our opp is half good then donk, and do it a lot.
Id donk here if i defended with ATo or KQ or a A9 or something that looks good but puts opp to a decision with his hand.

Id also balance this with c/c donk turn line.

I don't agree with myself here. Check/calling and donking the turn is definitely viable as well. I almost always donk the flop though.

For pot control reasons I think so.

pf call is totally read dependent on how much button has been raising, is it out of proportion?

as played, bet $1.50 on the flop. if re-raised, call and evaluate turn. if called, bet/fold any turn
