Default QQ Dream Flop - did I play it too cute though?

Villain is pretty laggy and just lost a $20 pot when his top pair was crushed. His raise on the flop struck me more as a bluff than anything else or hands like the diamonds, K10, JQ, 109 drawing type hands, perhaps even the set of 2's. Do you shove the flop or call as played, likewise do you insta-shove the non-scare card turn or check and induce his bet. I'm not bleating about results but I'd rather these lemons didn't always get rewarded so perhaps I didn't play it fast enough.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($23)
    BB ($22.55)
    UTG ($53.30)
    MP ($25)
    CO ($24.05)
    Button ($16.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q.
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Button calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.5, 1 fold, UTG folds, Button calls $1.25.

    Flop: ($3.50) 2, J, Q (2 players)
Hero bets $1.25, Button raises to $4.25, Hero calls $3.

    Turn: ($12) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $5.25, Hero raises to $10.5, Button calls $5.05 (All-In).

    River: ($32.60) T (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: $32.61

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Betting 3 on the flop makes it much easier to get it in cause he has to raise more therefore committing himself like kmind said. Plus your giving him great odds to chase with the small bet which we don't want to do, we want to punish him for chasing draws.

So you like that 1/3 pot bet on the flop?

I'd bet $2.5 on the flop, and try to get it in asap.
