Default QQ vs. preflop shove (BTW, didn't post results this time :)

no reads on dude, i only played 1 orbit at the time. i realize my 4 bet was way too light, shoul've made it at least $3. i'm kinda going on a limb, but does the fact that he min raised me make that smaller 4 bet ok, or should you always go at least 3x what the total amount is?

i'm not really a fan of a fourbet here at all versus an unknown opponent, since you do not really want him to push this hand preflop, because it gives you a very though decision. I think your fourbet size is fine here. his miniraise sounds like an overpair to me, so a small 'info' fourbet is not that bad i guess. as played i would fold.

Actually your fourbet size is fine. Fourbets are one of those spots where you don't have to reraise a spot. $3 is probably more optimal but in pos what you did was fine.

Idk how else to play this. Again, I haven't played microstakes in awhile and i dont know how much people in general are threebetting. I know in the live games we play this is a snap call. Normally, you should never ever fold after fourbetting. Here I probably cry and call. Just be assured that getting it all in here isnt enough of a mistake to care that much.

I think you played it well but i actually just fold here even though you should rarely 4-bet and then fold.

4betting less than KK at these levels is suicide as a lot of players don't even 3bet QQ at 10nl

Do we reckon TT and AQ are in this guy's threebetting range?

i will admit too im not the guy to ask for advice on this one because I'm not familiar with threebet and fourbet ranges at 10nl.

If your really frustrated in 3 bet pots try holdem manager beta.

everything that might 3bet but we are ahead of (TT-JJ/AK/AQ?) is going to fold to a 4bet. The only hands that call a 4bet perhaps are QQ+ and maybe AK. the only hands going over a 4bet are KK/AA (frisky with AK)
But as its 10nl these ranges may not necessairly be right.

yeah probably not. I would think that this 4-bet would be called a lot by weak hands.

id have just called the reraise and played the flop from there. AK will shut down very quickly and we can get away with losing less by playing the flop than we can by playing it preflop and getting into a spot where we pretty much cant fold.
