I have JJ on the button and i get three bet by the small blind. Do i 4 bet. We are both 100bb or a little more. Do i call and shove any flop not dangerous? How would you proceed? Do i fold?![]()

20-20 over about 25 hands he is to the right of me so when i button he BBs. Hasnt three bet me yet. I have a huge leak playing smaller high pockets in these positions and usually get stacked or get lucky! And ideas on flop theory?

I usually fold if he hasn't 3-bet me yet. You can also call and call a safe flop and fold to further action. Most people are pretty nitty with their 3-bets at these lower levels that you can expect it to be QQ+,AK the vast majority of the time so I don't mind folding until I know a bit more about him.

At low stakes I would probalby dump it unless he 3 bets a ton. |

I think that folding is too nitty w/ JJ to blind 3 bets OTB. But 4 betting is kinda spewy at these stakes, unless dudes a 3bet monkey. I flat it, and hope to call/check safe boards down. |

yeah folding jj pre to a 3bet here is basically terrible. its like a top 2-3% hand and u should be opening 35%+ on the button. if you give your opponents any credit for not being completely braindead, you have to feel pretty good about your holding even if u get threebet.

My question is more in the direction of how to play Non AK flops versus heat.

With no spewy reads on my oponents thats a good general flop play. But you should really be picking up on your opponents tendency's, ie have you seen him 2 barrel have you seen him bluff does he cbet? What kind of hands does he 3 bet with etc...

Your still ahead of a 40+% of anyones std 3bet range of AKs, AKo, TT+. I see nothing wrong with flatting and seeing the flop. Any A or K is pretty much a done hand most times.

i flat this hand and check out the flop. the action on the flop would almost always be an indication of your opponents hand. and he is first to act. i think a fold here preflop at 6max cash game is the worst play.
