Default In retrospect, I think I should've called, et toi?

No solid reads, villain has $80 stack, I have $50

    Dealer: Your cards :Ts: :Qc:
    Dealer: Petzombiepoker calls $0.50
    Dealer: Molsa79 folds
    Dealer: BackBlood folds
    Dealer: Benoso calls $0.50
    Dealer: tansky calls $0.25
    Dealer: LILIUS checks
    Dealer: Dealing Flop
    :Tc:
    Dealer: tansky bets $2.50
    Dealer: LILIUS folds
    Dealer: Petzombiepoker folds
    Dealer: Benoso calls $2.50
    Dealer: Dealing Turn

    Dealer: tansky bets $7.50
    Dealer: Benoso calls $7.50
    Dealer: Dealing River

    Dealer: tansky bets $68.35
    Dealer: Benoso folds

Thought about it long and hard, bit in retrospect it looks like a panic bet, I cannot see a hand that fits his line.

raise preflop, and yeah I fold the turn. Overbets most of the time are the nuts.

What do we think of 3-betting the flop?

it would be a raise, not a 3bet, and it would not be good because it folds most hands that we beat.

the fold is fine. I like the flop call, but when villain fires the second barrell on the turn i fold without a good read. also raise preflop on the button.

oh how i have learned this recently, even @ $10nl. I called 2 of them today w/ TPTK and a weak 2 pair and was shown the big hairy nuts each time.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Raise pre-flop. As played raise that flop. You'll figure out in a hurry if he hit his set or not.

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

    I don't get it.

    It's only a 3-bet if it's preflop? Or what?

it goes bet then raise then 3bet

preflop the blinds place the first bet, then the opener raises and then the lagg on the button 3bets.

on the flop, the raisor preflop bets, then the player in position raises, then the continuation better threebets.

    Uh-oh.

I thought a 3-bet was to do with the amount being bet, like if someone opened on the flop for $5 and you raised to $20 you were 3-betting cos you were putting three more bets on.

    I'll get my coat.
