I'd drop it because I'm a pussy in this type of situation.

I think he has it - crying fold. Considering the board, I don't think he makes that bet with anything you're ahead of, except possibly air - and then only if he's really brave, or really stupid. And I'm not usually trying to run people down in those kinds of situations without a very specific read that has been honed through many hands of playing with the guy.

Overbets like this are either the nuts or total air. A read will determine which. Does he limp hands like 45 UTG+1? Does he overbet when he misses/hits? You checked the river after betting flop and turn so he could be making a move. With zero read I guess you fold.

I raise 66 preflop here most of the time btw.

In position I would raise 66 here every time, but at these limits being OOP with 66 without a set on the flop can get really ugly when they call me down with anything and I don't know where I stand.

And I could only put him on 57 or nothing at all, so I called. He turned up 59s for a flopped gutshot and a turned double gutter. Oh well, lesson learned.

I'm thinking that IF you did lose this hand, you lost it on the turn when the 4 came.

I'm going to put villian on 75 for his turned straight.

65? 85? 52? Hmm... if you're beat I think you lost on the turn and that river card just makes it THAT much easier to fold.

Just saw the results. 95s was surprising, jeje, but I still think this deserved a fold.
A lesson I've learned is that I will NOT lose my stack in unraised pots!!
