hmm im assuming u were gonna check/call a small to med sized bet? i dont like betting for value on the river as pretty much the only hands that call u are KJ, badly played KQ/AK and flush. i think its possible that he had QT and was seeing if he could take it down on the turn. I like the way u played this hand.

I would lead this turn and probably fold to a raise without reads. By acting scared of the flush it lets us be bluffed out pretty easily, if he has bet again on the river, would you have called?

I am pretty sure we should be betting the turn, but Im not very confident on how Id play the river had we bet. Its unlikely he would bet without what he views as a strong hand, but to him that could be something like two-pair. For practical purposes should we assume that if he calls the turn bet he isnt betting the river without a hand that beats us?

I like a river block bet around 1/3 pot. It's semi-transparent but at least top pair (prob with a missed flush draw) and two pair will call it.

My standard for the turn is check/call to keep the pot small and possibly get a bet from hands I beat that might fold to a bet, but I'm not too sure about that vs betting. If he calls a turn bet, I think block betting the river is even better.

yea actually, a turn bet and fold to reraise is probably a better option.
