    Default This situation perplexes me

Not specific on hands but I have had this happen to me and it always gives me that awkward feeling.

Playing a session, I am TAGG, get AQ raise cont bet take down pot, next hand AK, raise cont bet etc, next hand AK I feel like raising gets me no respect because I did not show down the last two hands. I do raise here but seems like I get more calls or sometimes a 3-bet push(which I may call depending on the player)

What do you guys feel about this?

But once you hit your A or K you get no respect as well and you get paid big. You'll likely get paid enough that time to make up for the times you miss and have to give up.

I've thought about this before. I'd have no problem getting it all-in in this spot preflop, especially if they are 3-betting you lighter.

I'd still raise this preflop, but if I get called by several people I'd only continue if improved.

At this level, Unless the player is known to be very solid, this is a snap call to a 3-bet push. You'll get mostly coin tosses, a few dominations in your favor, and couple times you'll be way behind, but not often enough.

The most common thing people do this with is a mid pocket pair. You have to call anyway because hands you dominate are showing up sometimes.

Generally speaking it's a high variance choice you have to gamble on. Sucks but that's poker. Make a good choice and watch the cards roll off.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
