To slow play or not to slow play...is it even a question?
This guy is real loose pre flop and donkish, but not terrible (he mixes up his play and occasionally makes good laydowns), post flop. I have a lot of history with him and think he sees me as slag, willing to make moves in small/medium pots, but having the goods if it gets to an allin.
He tends to play his monster hands really fast on the flop and turn, and I've seen him do this min check/raise on the turn with top and even mid pair, I think to "see where he's at" since he shut down afterward.
Recently he played for stacks with for 100bb with Q4 on a Q 3 3 x board where I had AA, but he seems to be tightening up since then.
I think I should've just raised his limp, but got (unnecessarily) worried since I'd been raising a lot recently and thought he's likely to try to play back if I cbet
ANYWAY, my question is what you would do on the turn - smooth call or reraise and how much. I get confused about blowing someone off the pot vs slow playing and possibly letting them suck out (seems unlikely he has a set though, likely 1pr or 2pr or str8) or possibly getting more value if he would think strong is weak.
