    Default Slow playing at $25NL

I have found ( been burned) by alot of slow play that the 25NL tables at Party lately. Whats up? is this the norm? too many tight players that those with the nuts have to squeeze it out of them?

Last night. I limp UTG w/ A7s. whole table limps.
    Flop: A 7 K rainbow. I lead out 1/2 pot bet. 2 callers.
Turn: blank. I bet pot. One fold , one call.
River: blank. I push all in.
    CALL>>>>> turns over AK.

    2nd Hand:

Limp to me on button with QQ

I raize to $2.00 Three callers? wtf?

    Flop: Q A 10 raindow . Checked to me. I bet pot
all fold but one who pushes me all in.
    I call. Flips over AA.

Am I missing something. No body bets anymore?
Does theis happen at 50 or 100 NL. I played a little up there and don't remember this mush slow play. I do notice that at 25NL there are alot of campers and have had to move tables due to everybody folding to PFRs.

    Killed my bankroll last night!

You are probably going to go broke at 6-Max on that second hand reguardless, unless somehow u can put him on a broadway straight.

About slowplaying, I find that all really terrible players overuse the slowplay because they are afraid if they show any agression it will give their hand away.

Look for a delayed pause then a call, from my experience this means a trap and usually sets off warning in my head. A quick call for the most part is a genuine chaser and I usually treat him as such..
    Currently Playing 8 Tables of 25NL 10-Max.
    Or
    2 Tables of 100NL 10-Max

    Current Bankroll: $625

Goal: To stop pulling $$$ out of my bankroll and build it up to 1k.

Also, I wouldn't be so quick to push 2 pair all in on the river. You always have to consider the possibility you're being slowplayed vs how strong your hand is. If you have a hand that could potentially be beaten by a higher 2-pair or better then its best to check the river through in my opinion.

I dont think that your opponents played the hands badly. You were after all showing aggression all the way and they had no reason to re-raise you.

Slowplaying, when nobody is showing aggression, and your only intention is to trap, is much more dangerous and should be done really seldom at low stakes ring IMO.

Both hands look like occasions where you have just been a little unlucky. Its not a total surprise to see AK limped at 25nl, enough players think its worth letting more see the flop and hit something while they sit back and slow play tptk which often gets them burnt. Two pair vs a better two pair is unluck as is set over set.
I would just call them unusual plays and carry on (plus i wudnt push the two pair but i think its agaisnt the grain to see AK unraised but it is not to see AA unriased preflop) at 25nl.
Just be aware that it can happen, tag the players and carry on.
