He also might have had AKs and just bet hard on the flop to feign his power. Sometimes when players bet hard pre-flop and don't pair up on flop, they just bet alot anyways to fold out the other player. The only thing I would have put this guy on was AK, AA, or AQ. Possibly QQ, but unlikely. He obviously wouldn't have two pair of Q9s because only an idiot would raise before the flop on that hand. Good play overall, it was sort of risky seeing as how you did NOT know this player very well.
