this hand actually happened before POST 1.

i "learned" my lesson sorta speak, from this hand.

i guess i am thinking that at this level... good players are going to blow me off these hands because of the flush draws. and bad players are going to chase chase chase.... and fold when they don't hit. so is a pot sized bet here standard at this level... or am i spewing if i make this play against donks 75% of the time.

Yeah the first hand is spew. You never get him to fold a K, and probably not any other pair. You just got lucky he was on the FD.

    getting my swell on
first hand is definitely spew, second hand, meh. at least you didnt make a river bet. I play 25NL at stars and I have found that the best way to save money is dont bet turn after failed c-bet, unless you pick up a good draw, obv.

Both hands are spews... I wouldn't open with them especially if the opponents are loose donks.

T9 gapped and unsuited is worth opening with only from the button if the blinds are tight imo.

you have to fire a 3rd barrell in hand 2, $7-8 will do.

Is that a reply to my post? I'm just saying, if you fire the turn you're going to need to fire the river too.

dont worry, no ones attacking you. That was just a general statement.

I agree w/ spenda - if you're going to let a c-bet turn into an all-out bluff, you can't give up on it. BUT, this is precisely the reason off-suit connectors suck - you have to give them up.

i agree its probably spew. i ought to just quit on the turn and save money for a real hand. it's hard to know if a donk is gonna slow play top pair despite the flush draw... or if they are chasing... or if they have A8 and hoping to go to show down without getting all in.

as played in post 2... i agree with spenda that i need to bet the river and try to win the pot.... cuz i am so invested.
