    Default still bluffing...better??

Bluffing is by far my biggest leak lately, but I really want to learn to get better at it, so any comments are appreciated.

I have been pretty much abc tag, and have not played more than a smallish pot yet after around 60 hands.

Villain is loose-passive, so I know - bad target for bluffs...but I read him for a weak hand based on his limp and quick calls. He played a big pot once so far, where he made a str8 flush and min check raised and eventually stacked ace high flush.

    What do you think?

lesson #1: don't bluff the unbluffable. don't believe you can bluff the unbluffable. loose/passive players are usually unbluffable.

He has a hand he's willing to call down with. I don't believe you're getting a L/P to fold any hand that beats you here if he's willing to take it as far as you already lead him.

Kx and Jx will call you down. You exploit this by not betting the turn.

Why is it a sucky board? Because he could have a pair/club?

I thought 3 flush looks scary especially if he only has Jx, and maybe a weak Kx based on how things have gone. Got ya on everything else though, thanks. I get too antsy sometimes.

If the three flush won't scare him nothing will. Even the worst player recognize the flush, it's their favorite hand.

Against some players firing the turn (and maybe river) is fine, but not this guy. Check that turn and give up on the river.
