Default strange preflop call from possible tilter

Wader is a 23/15 TAGG. He hasn't been out of line. I'm 100% sure that he folded an overpair earlier to my raise with a straight draw in a multiway pot and i showed. He may be tilting from that.

I was pretty sure by the call/call he must've had a PP because the original raiser was a 40/20. Obviously QJ is possible but seems unlikely (if he has QJ it just supports my thoughts that he was tilting anyways). I just thought he could have been making a move even though it didn't make sense to, because there are few hands he could have that like this flop.

    Here's how i played it...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($1129.15)
    UTG ($586)
    MP ($725.35)
    Button ($177.20)
    SB ($392.80)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, Q.
2 folds, Button raises to $8, SB calls $6, Hero raises to $36, Button folds, SB calls $28.

    Flop: ($80) Q, J, 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $40, SB raises to $112, Hero calls $72.

    Turn: ($304) J (2 players)
    SB bets $244.8 (All-In), Hero calls $244.80.

    River: ($793.60) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: $793.60

My guess is villian has KK,JJ,33 or junk.

why aren't you putting QQ/JJ in his range?

    I play it the same.

I think his range is an underpair bluff/JTs/T9s/QJs/33... I could see a bluff or semibluff flop c/r since it looks like you're squeezing a button steal pre-flop. I'm not sure why he would push a made hand on the turn, unless he's 3rd leveling you. He only needs to be tilt-bluffing 31% of the time here for a call to be +EV...

edit: In response to the two posts above, I'm pretty sure this guy 3-bets QQ/JJ from the sb here rather than cold-calling.

    Sheesh, what a bitching spot!

Ever considered that he knew you thought he was tilting and that you just got leveled?

I can see why you puy him on air, given the double-call preflop, but surely he knows how glaringly obvious that is?

    I really like zook's range.

You're SN is still in the blinds portion of the HH.

I'm honestly lost here without having lots of reads on this guy and game flow etc. I probably pay it off too though because his line is so bizarre.

ugh, i read the HH wrong. i missed him CCing the first time.
he's representing exactly 33 here. i find overbets like that are always the nuts or air, and if he's doing it at the right frequency, hero can never make a +EV decision here.

I'm not sure i understand what you are saying. He doesn't overbet anytime in the hand.

ok i'm gonna convert it so it's clear...

Also if this is relevant he did pause a little before pushing the turn.

no more posting from me....damn i'm totally off the ball today.

Well he's playing it like the nuts.. guess it all hinges on your read that he's tilting.

    very very strange tough spot

I like how you played it
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

if villain thinks you suck then it's very possible he thinks he's "pushing you off" of AK here on the turn
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
