struggling at 1/2

    getting my swell on

    Default struggling at 1/2

    so through 16k hands at 1/2 im down about 1k for about -1.5bb/100. however, though 60k hands i beat 100NL for 3.6bb/100. part of the reason i am losing is because i am running pretty awful, but the other reason is a feel outmatched by the regs. right now i am just kinda clueless as to how to improve my game.

    How much effort do you put into your table selection?

    Make this the most important part of your game. Then, over time, you will become a little more comfortable with the money (not sure if this is a problem or not for you, but just saying...) You will be making money. And you will slowly become used to the way the regulars play.

    It's much easier to play at a table with 3 shitty players and a couple regs. You will be able to stay out of the way of the regs, but you will also learn a lot about how they're playing if you're paying attention. Much easier than trying to handle 4 solid regs while you're all fighting over the one drooler.

    I realize I'm probably speaking out of ignorance as I play on really fishy sites, but from what I understand, there's still plenty of fish on sites like Stars and such, just gotta keep your eyes open.
