stupid question- but can someone answer?

I currently only play on stars but I want more game selection so I want to play at other sites.

But im too stubborn to play on FT and UB without any rakeback and I already have an existing account (without rakeback) at both of these sites from back in the day. Is the only way to get rakeback to sign up through an affiliate or can you change/make ur account a rakeback account later? It just seems stupid that I haven't figured out how to do this yet.... Thanks

I remember seeing something about being able to get RB at FT even if you have an existing account. I'd try emailing support and even if you can't just email them back and say you're going to move to pokerstars (for some reason that seems to work every time).

However, at supernova you know PS VIP program getting the money is equivalent to almost 20% RB?

Yes, at least for Full Tilt I know you can (could) do this. All you need to do is use a different Email address when you sign up.

I was in the same situation as you. I did this to get the Rake Back a little while ago with no problems.

Sorry, but I don't know about UB or others.

its risky with full tilt because their cashout options include alot of stuff about sending in utility bills and stuff.

a different deposit method will fix everything. I finally got switched over to epassporte so I have a fresh round of accounts all with rakeback + sexy deposit bonuses.

if you cant get it, then close your old accounts.

Then a week later open a new one and inform support you have opened a new account because you didnt want the old one and thought you wouldnt need it etc.
Ask them to waive the sign up bonus and they probably will let you away with it, just dont depsoit much cash util you have done it.

Normally the big sites wont argue about it.

Edit: if you try and do the sign up bonuses twice, without informing support, dont complain when they rape you later. Playing 3/6 it shouldnt matter anyways...

FullTilt does not pay players rakeback therefore there is no alternative way to add rakeback onto your account. We do not allow players to have more than one account. Even if you close your account we always keep player data on file for our own records and this would restrict you from opening a new account with the same details that you have already registered with.

I've seen this work before... Just email them and tell them that you would really like to make a new account so you can get rakeback and if they won't allow you to you're just going to put your money on pokerstars. lol.

this isnt as bad an idea as it sounds if you quote to them 'ill be despositing 15k to play 36nl else im going to UB'

I will try to open new accounts on Full Tilt & Ultimate Bet with Rakeback (cos I had none there) but will sign up from a different computer, different e-mail address and will use epassporte (previously Neteller) to fund those accounts. Hope it will work, can’t see a major problem with this. You?

no, dont do that..i'm pretty sure the FT support is supposed to say that they dont give rakeback like that, and this might just make the process harder.

u need to email a rakeback provider, and they'll give u a detailed step by step.
i went through this same deal with UB, since i had an old account with no RB. my rakeback provider said they have a different department, or for whatever else reason, aren't supposed to say they offer rakeback. but he gave detailed instructions to set up a new account.

also, make sure to sign up with an address that matches the address of whatever you use to fund it. that's how to avoid sending in utility bills and whatnot.
i tried using a new address, so that it wouldn't match the last account..but when i tried taking money out, they kept denying it, and requesting all this proof of ID. that's because my credit card didn't match the new address (the credit card address was for the address of my first UB account..eventually i just switched it so the new account had the same address as the old one, and it's worked so far.)
anyways all that was a big time hassle..took almost 2 months to make a withdraw i needed since support is sooo slow.
