no, dont do that..i'm pretty sure the FT support is supposed to say that they dont give rakeback like that, and this might just make the process harder.
u need to email a rakeback provider, and they'll give u a detailed step by step.
i went through this same deal with UB, since i had an old account with no RB. my rakeback provider said they have a different department, or for whatever else reason, aren't supposed to say they offer rakeback. but he gave detailed instructions to set up a new account.
also, make sure to sign up with an address that matches the address of whatever you use to fund it. that's how to avoid sending in utility bills and whatnot.
i tried using a new address, so that it wouldn't match the last account..but when i tried taking money out, they kept denying it, and requesting all this proof of ID. that's because my credit card didn't match the new address (the credit card address was for the address of my first UB account..eventually i just switched it so the new account had the same address as the old one, and it's worked so far.)
anyways all that was a big time hassle..took almost 2 months to make a withdraw i needed since support is sooo slow.
