Yup, like gabe said...if you don't like it, just leave.
The main thing I try to look for on weekends is a high average pot size. People in there gambling it up. You'll notice more variance at tables like this, but your profits should be greater because of it.
On weeknights I try to find medium pot sizes with a few shorter stacks at the table (in the 75bb range). Players that play with less than 100bb usually aren't very good and you can exploit them pretty easily.
Aggressive players on your right, tighties on your left, yada yada...Table selection definitely matters, but there's not much difference between NL100 and NL200, at least that's what I've found out. The main difference is YOU feeling comfortable with the stakes you're playing....Once YOU are comfortable, you'll see what we mean.
