Are these folds good?

Any reason to call these?
Hand 1:
I played this hand crappy but this guy is loose aggressive and I figure I can stack him if a King hits. Plus, I'm not sure if he has AJ or something on the flop so I float.
I'm looking for a relatively cheap showdown. When he pushes the river - I'm not calling as I'm a split at best.

Blind war - no read. I just call the flop because I figure to have the best hand and want to see what he does on the turn.
I'm a little concerned about a 3rd club. I can't call the river when 4 clubs are out.

I usually make it 8bb, but I think 6bb will accomplish the same thing. Plus, if I have a decent read on somebody I raise a wide range so keeping the pot a little smaller each time seems better.
