As far as I know it's where you may be behind but you're ahead just enough of the time to make betting +EV.

That makes a lot of sense but I always thought of it as a smallish value bet.

Not really, sometimes its obviously really +EV but its not obviously so to bad players.

You know those spots where your wondering if you should bet for value or not but you puss out? Start betting.

It's essentially spots where you feel like your ahead of opp almost every time but you have a bad hand, you should probably bet.

    Example.
    .5/.10 NL
I raise 99 to .4 pre in the CO get a call from from the BB

flop comes KK2, he checks you bet .65 he calls.

turn is a 3. He checks you check.

River is a T. He checks again you should bet most of the time.

so in most instances it is like b/f river bet?

Hand 2 is what I'd define as thin vbetting.

I had a hand just like that the other day at 50NL. Except I had JJ and the BB check-raised the river all in (he had a 50 BB stack). I am also a tournament donk so I called (was getting okay odds and couldn't put him on a K) and he flipped KT
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

You can know the definition of something and not have a clue about its applications.
