Hand 1: Ok, kind of a tough decision
Hand 2: wtf? you played it really odd.. ill give you my analysis
Hand 1:
Preflop: Seems ok, 4 betting here may have helped your flop decision... but it depends on your reads on BB. What does he run? Has he 3bet b4? if so how much? etc?
Flop: Tough Decision given pf action but you really have no idea where you are at in the hand... I don't bet this flop. Let villain take the lead, you have position on him, if he bets out small, you can call and hope for him to check the turn, or hit your 9 or 10. A8/A9 is likley Not in villains range here since he 3 bet you pf.... As played, id say it is standard to fold the flop as it appears you are up against a bigger pp.
Hand 2:
Preflop: RAISE! Most people in this forum even 3 bet AQ, so at least raise it pf. Raise to about $3.00, which is your standard 4xbb +1bb for each limper.
Flop: If you raised pf, the rest of the hand would probably be a lot different. Bet about 3/4 the pot as your cbet. As played, it looks fine.
Turn: DONT check the turn. There is no need. Just bet out like 3/4 the pot or so. If you get raised, reraise and hope to get all your money in. If not, calling isn't too bad, and get all the money in on the river, since there isn't many cards that could scare you.
River: If you played as above, ideally you would have all your money in on the turn with top two pair, Aces up. As played, i probably just shove the river here.
General:
Raise that preflop! No need to check raise when you have the lead? Especially when your planning to check raise a small .5 bet? Usually unless you have some extreme reads, top two pair on that board is almost always good given the action. MP is likely on Ax, maybe a smaller aces up and he will surely be glad to get all his money in with you. Your whole line in this hand is messed up and needs to be examined, not just your turn/river line, although those need work as well. If it turns out villain has a set, so be it, but i pay this off every time, and i would guess your far ahead here a huge majority of the time.
