Default top set board texture issues

hey. opp is 25/21, haven't seen them get out of line, AF is quite low for such a player about 2.0

I decided after having seen quite a few people make CR like this with air that i'd do that but with a monster, also hoping he'd easily get it in with NFD etc.

so flop works great, turn is a pretty horrid card i think for his range, but i bet anyway because i dont want Ah to get a free one, if he shoves I think I still call on turn as I have the best hand vs combo draws, sets etc and probably at least 25% equity still.

river is well worst card left in the deck, do you c/f here always or make like a $40 bet and fold to a shove since he really can't think he has any FE on a shove if i bet like that.

I think it looks fine, just c/f the river though, no sense in putting any more money in the pot on this card.

c/r as the pfr on a wet board is never something that I would do. I would bet the turn bigger as played and I guess fold river.

Yeah on second thought I agree w/ meeloche about the c/r on flop being bad. If he calls and a bad card falls for you on the turn, you're oop in a huge pot in a spot where you just don't know where you're at. You can't ever profitably bet turn shove river and get called by worse unless you have coolered him or are expecting to induce something. Best you could hope for is he calls you on flop w/ some kind of draw, then calls you again on river, then draw misses again, you'd check and hope he decides to turn his hand into a bluff. Can't see it being good w/out specific dynamic.
