top set vs probably an overpair

i was thinking i would just call the huge reraise on the flop then check raise the turn, but if another club comes up, it kills my action. is this just an easy push?

straight in the middle with the lot.
This is exactly how i play over pairs and i push back over your bet anyway so if you have the set im paying up no problems for the amount of times my overpair doesnt walk into a better hand.

If he doesnt call its an ok pot anyway.
If he happens to have two club overcards (looks unlikely) ill take my chances with the set too.

He's raising out of position. Call and stack him on the turn when he bets into you. He'll bet big on the turn for sure. You're only worry is clubs, and its not that he's has a club draw because I doubt that. But I do think he might be scared if a club hit so you might not be able to stack him.

Edit: Minraising him back might be smart, he wont think your drawing to clubs then.

Calling sounds good. I don't think that he has clubs, so you needn't worry about that. Call him and then keep betting into him, maybe even check-raise if a club doesn't come on the turn.

With your raise on the flop I don't see how he could put you on a draw. If you have a read on him as a tight plr I would call here and open another round of betting on the turn. Another raise may push him off the hand. A laggy plr is an easy push here.

If the club does show, you can try overbetting. You may get a call anyway as he may put you on a bluff. Alot depends on what your think your image is.

Look closer at the positions, he's not raising out of position (Gabe is the small-blind), anyways ...

4-betting the flop let's nearly every lesser hand get away cheap so with how you've played it thus far just call and lead turn for 2/3-3/4 pot.

Another line to consider in these situations is just to lead the flop for about 3/4-pot and hope to get raised a reasonable amount so that you can dump the rest of your stack in. It's especially good if you use this line with a big draw too ... such as :Ac: or in this case.

I think there is a high probability that villain will check behind turn or fold to a turn check/raise allin. You're best shot is to push now and hope he calls. If you had position on him I can see calling and hoping he bets big on turn.
