TPTK facing a turn all-in

    Default TPTK facing a turn all-in

    Villain here is 25/7 over 100 hands. Muck or call?

    donkey is at seat 0 with $137.40.
    hero is at seat 1 with $191.
    villain is at seat 4 with $177.40.

    Hero is in cutoff with Ac Qh

    Pre-flop:

    donkey calls. hero raises to $9. villain calls in BB.
    donkey calls.

    Flop ($28) (board: 7c Qc 2s):

    villain checks. donkey checks. hero bets
    $21. villain calls. donkey folds.

    Turn ($70) (board: 7c Qc 2s 6s):

    villain checks. hero bets $35. villain
    goes all-in for $147.40.

    Looks rather settish. Fold.

    I'd check behind on the turn after he calls the flop bet, call a reasonable river bet.

    i dont know what else this would be besides a set. i guess it could be SC's 67. either way i fold this.

    I agree with this nearly verbatim. I think you should be practicing a little more pot control by checking this turn.

    I called. Villain had 9h 2h. On a scale of 1-10 (where 1 is bleh, 5 is meh, and 10 is yeah), where does villain's play rank?

    It would've got me to fold, but I'm a bit of a nit without reads. I'd be interested in knowing why you called. A 25/7 usually doesn't make plays like this.

    Your 1/2 potter on the turn probably looks weak so he attacks it, if you've previously shown you're capable of folding TP.

    If you know how to fold, I like villain's turn play. But pre-flop and flop are horrendous.

    $100NL with TPTK 3handed. Id have trouble folding. Board has too many combo draws.
