Without specific reads, I play the same.
Looking at his betting size (FLOP/TURN = 2/3 PSB, RIVER = 5/6 PSB), I put my money on a missed FD.
Sometimes, I see this up to turn betting 2nd pair.

i dont mind this line. i think he has a FD more than AJ/A8 more than a set.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

i raise the flop and barrel off on safe turns. if he shoves flop id fold. i expect him to become passive once i raise unless he has a set

umm raise folding the flop seems pretty bad on this flop. Most of his draws that he's donk leading are combo draws like KQcc, or QTcc or 9Tcc or hands that are gonna be happy to bet/jam over your raise.

I am kind of tempted to raise his turn bet though, as I wouldn't expect combos to ship it over me on the turn.

As played, yah I guess we gotta call river.

imo i find alt of donks like this donk/call alot as opposed to donk/3bet. i think its ok vs an opp with passive stats like opp. i think he would even just call with big combos.

I completely accept that I'm new to poker. So please don't rip into me. But I really don't see how we can just call the flop bet. I think from personal experience, a 25/5/3 shows up here with AcTc, or AcQc. A raise on the flop to me, would provoke a call I think, and if so, we're certain he's on a combo draw. If he does have a set, he will shove or 3bet, no? If he then checks the turn, we're pretty certain we have the best hand. I guess there's something about calling down 3 streets of strong betting that erks me with TPTK.

I find donking ranges from bad players to be very wide but generally non-nut. These players generally won't stack off with their draws on the flop, although I will admit there are some candidates in this hand (Acxc,Tc9c,QcTc). We're barely ahead of these hands though, so considering the value we lose from folding worse, I don't like raising the flop. On the turn I think villains are going to fold a lot of draws to a raise and if they call we're less likely to get a river bluff on a blank. I think calling down wins the most from his bluffing and semibluffing range and obviously loses the least to the rare nut hands like AJ/A8s/A3s/JJ/88.

    Nice Hand.

Deep money, opponent seems kinda passive, taking it to showdown is a reasonable line. With more information/history I'm looking for a value raise here somewhere. Hmmm... maybe min-raise the river? *cackle*

    "opponent seems kinda passive"

as his total aggression is 3 over a small sample? sized bets? how?

    Could be a flop folder.

With more information, I think other lines open up for value/balance.
