Default TPTK vs cold caller deep

villain is 25/19/.7 over 78 hands. he has 3-bet 1 time, and i have hardly been 3-betting (maybe 3 times?) so i dont think he has a reason to think im fooling around. also i havent been out of line post flop either. fwiw, a few hands earlier he had flat called a 3-bet ip with KK, which is standard, but maybe he doesnt like 4-betting?

anyways, thats all i got atm, but if i think of anything else ill add it.

That sux. Given your read of flatting big PP's and the fact that you are at the absolute bottom of your range AND 200BB deep I fold and give him a mulligan.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Given you're oop, 200bb deep and 3betting turns your hand into a bluff I think folding is best.

Agree with above and I like flatting preflop until he has a reason to call you light pre.

I think betting the flop is best but ugh at the rest. I think most of the time people dont fool around deep so folding is safe. Definitely call or fold. If I called the flop id fold to a 2 barrel.

yeah that was another question. i felt iffy at the time, but i was like meh.

meeloche - i think you might have gotten mixed up on the action, cause i wasnt 3-betting the main villain. the initial raiser folded.

As played this is a super easy fold.

I think I like betting the flop because he'll probably call one bet with 99-JJ and if he raises you its such an easy fold since he has AF of 0.7. Checking is okay but it puts us in a tough spot if this guy will overvalue something like KQs or even JJ and bet flop AND a rag turn for protection?

when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

u guys srsly think this guy will flat a big one 200bb's deep?

and then we're gonna fold when we're losing to 444 and 666 on THAT board?

    maybe I'm missing something

edit : 3rd nut backdoor FD ftw obv... this was clearly overlooked as well.

I see TAggs make dumb plays with their big ones all the time. Plus his aggression factor says 0.7 not 7. I can't see a guy that weak post-flop suddenly deciding to get his crazy on in a 3-bet pot 200bb deep.

Obviously him flatting a big pair is dumb since will folded AQ to a flop raise, that doesn't mean you can take it out of his range though.

I don't play much heads-up. I know just enough to pwn people blind vs blind who don't know how to play HU well.

Anyway, I'm just saying that I'm pretty darn stubborn with my top pair hands and do just fine and don't swing nearly as badly as many of my tighter peers.

Sometimes you need to put in money bad to be able to contest the vast majority of pots that are up for grabs. Also, sometimes you just need to give up on the cheap streets...
