    Default trips c/r 200bb deep

Villain is a good reg who I see playing a mix of 10/20 and 5/10. We don't really have any history I have him at 24/18 3 betting 9% over a meaningless sample.

I'll set this one up street by street.

Flop being that his value range is almost non existent I feel like 3 betting would get too many folds? Am I better off calling and letting him continue bluffing since I feel like thats where his range is weighted towards. We are 200bb deep as well fyi I think 100bb this is a much easier 3 bet and get it in since he can be value c/r wider and will happily felt more spades. I feel like flop is a call, agree or disagree?

far be it for me to give advice here as this is way over my level but this seems to be the most standard situation where we should flat and let him spew on the turn. we're at the top of our range when he perceives your range as not being very strong.

With the As there are practically no truly bad cards so really he's looking at 2-3 outs at the most.

Hmmmm... is he the non-believer type? I think it depends on the dynamic, if he's seen me be spewy I might 3bet here small just cause it looks pretty FoS.

Otherwise yah for sure flatting is fine.

Depends on how he views you, it's more standard for you to flat a 9 here when he re-raises. A re-raise looks more bluffy, however if he is bluffing you want to keep his bluffs in and unless he isn't scared to make big moves its unlikely he will go back over you. So I think a flat is good.

Yaah I was 60/40 on raising or calling before, but I think gabe is right that it looks a lot less strong raising now than potentially calling his c/r and raising later.

I'd make it small though so that it looks like a re-steal. Maybe make it 265 or something.

FYI: stop and pop is the cool way of saying check and raise (like "i 3bet from the SB and then stopped and popped the flop")

Being cool requires a lot more typing these days. I would also pop his stop and pop and hope he doesn't drop.

if he plays cop he gets chopped

Ok we'll I elected to call at the time because I was unsure of how wide his value range was and as a default I assumed it wasn't very wide. Could be a mistake? If I just call the flop my plan is to call down on non spades? I don't think raising the turn makes much sense and probably doesn't get played back at with worse.

I think calling and raising both have merit. Certainly depends a lot on history, and since you don't have much I would prefer a small 3bet because I want to build and protect more than I need strong hands in my b/c range.

with 96 or something a call has much more merit.

200BB deep, if he does have 9x, and you flat the flop, do you think you will stack him (assuming he doesn't fill up) as any raise later in the hand just seems so strong. The only way I wouldn't re-pop it here is if I didn't think villain had any heart.

i raise and hope he shoves with a flush draw. i want to get it all in. sorry if he had 33.
