    u don t play bad

    u play goot
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
  3. #3
I would play it the same and hope opp bets the river for a sexy c/raise.
  4. #4
Hmm dunno, your hand looks a lot like AJ, so I think I bet the river hoping for a raise.

Is an 8 really betting and calling a c/r on the river on this board?
  5. #5
id just bet the rest since u dont have much left, and dont wanna risk a check behind from an 8.
  6. #6
Yeah I bet at least 1/2 pot, when board pairs or flush card hits I don't go for check raise as many opponents check behind.
(+ as someone said your hand looks like AJ so you might still get a raise out of an 8 anyway)

    No hindsight for the blind.
I don't hate it, the 8 will bet and call alot. I do think I like betting out better because he'll shove the 8 into our apparent AJ alot anyway, but it also allows us to get a hero call from Jx.

theres $45 in the pot and you have $25 left, just shove. You're getting called by hero Jx and straights on this board for only a ~1/2 pot river bet way too much to risk checking behind.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

I never have AJ here ever, not that he would know that, but you guys should.

You said it, he doesn't know that. I didnt calculate stacks earlier, you have half pot left just stick it in.

He will probably check behind 8x actually, as there's not only a possible full house, but hero could have KQ for the higher straight. You can't risk him checking behind a callable hand because that'll make you turn call a bad one.

He's not gonna fold many hands to a half pot bet on the river, if he does then you were probably ahead on all streets so nothing is lost (except for the rare stone cold bluff).

If my stack is deeper (150bb) is it a better spot for a c/r.
