Default turn push with good draw

he has been loose preflop, and a little bit too passive everywhere. probably a thinking player. I know ilikeaces posted a hand and did something along these lines, but i just want to double check because i know if called i'm behind. I'm pretty certain they have ak/aq etc. and will fold, and the pot is ~60 after their bet. they have ~70 behind which i obv cover. And, I just called preflop because fuzzytdo was trying hard to give his money away but was easily scared of aggression.

this really puts the pressure on the villain and i think anything less then trips has to fold here. AK/AQ might call, but AQ could easily think he's dominated, and not sure what AK would do in this situation.

not a bad play imo, assuming he folds.

When you call the minraise on the flop, it certainly doesnt look like you have a strong hand, calling a minraise seems weak, I mean would you give a free card with AK or a set? Would certainly not be a good idea, since a minraise like this is pretty often a flush draw. Then you checkraise all in on the turn when a card that its very unlikely could have helped you turns, and its bad if he calls you here with only one card to come. And I think he should call with a decent ace and better, since you having a strong hand here wouldnt make sense to me at least, and I guess he has a strong ace or better.

I would much rather 3-bet the flop 3x his bet, as thats the way I would play AK and a flopped set so it makes much more sense, if he calls then pushing turn would make sense as you have represented a very strong hand on flop.

    me too

your pot equity gets cut in half when you wait until the turn, its almost better just to check/call if you dont get allin on the flop

Just wanted to throw in, in aces hand he was oop and 3 bet the flop, then open pushed the turn, which i definitely like a lot better than my line here as I think he's too likely to call me without the 3 bet on the flop, though he did fold here.

If you have a read that he is a decent player I like the play. I'm almost positive he has AK or AQ here, but if he isn't capable of folding TPTK then it's not a good play. Most opponents will fold here though, so for that reason I like it.
