    Default Two hands

This hand is just me playing a little differently. I've started calling down on the river more. I still wonder if I'm being slowplayed and value-bet but I just close my eyes and call. I guess its not that scary looking back at the HH, but last week may be still floating around in the back of my head.

This hand makes me wonder though. The guy was new to the table, but he continued to be a maniac after this hand.

All he does is checkraise huge which really pisses me off more than anything.

First hand - good call, it's a pretty obvious busted flush draw and there's no reason to think you're behind. I like smooth calling there. A raise gains you nothing if it's a bluff, and costs you everything if it turns out he rivered something wonderful.

Second hand - ???????? All-fucking-in. You flopped top two pair on a rainbow board... I'm guessing that guy had an ace. Maybe. You're only really worried about a set there, but the standard player who calls raises with pocket pairs and check-raises his sets isn't going to throw out such a monumental raise that it makes the original bettor not want to call.

I think it's good that you're working more restraint into your game, but this was not the time for restraint. If he flopped a lucky set or something, good for him. I seriously doubt he had it though.
