Default two hands where I hope to have FE - $50NL

I haven't played much cash the past couple of years and I'm trying to get back into it. Not sure whether or not I played these hands okay so I thought I'd quickly post them.

    1) Villain is 45/27 but only over 13 hands.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($50)
    Button ($71.55)
    Hero (SB) ($76.75)
    BB ($58.90)
    UTG ($58.70)
    MP ($40.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, J
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, CO bets $2.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $8, 2 folds, CO calls $5.50

    Flop: ($17) K, 3, K (2 players)
Hero bets $8, CO calls $8

    Turn: ($33) Q (2 players)
    Hero bets $34

    2) Villain is 28/15 with 3 bet 7.1 over 65 hands. No notable hands between us, she seems to have been pretty straight forward. Fold PF?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP ($83.85)
    CO ($70.05)
    Hero (Button) ($57.75)
    SB ($58.10)
    BB ($71.20)
    UTG ($35.75)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J, 10
3 folds, Hero bets $2, 1 fold, BB raises to $5.50, Hero calls $3.50

    Flop: ($11.25) 2, 8, 9 (2 players)
BB bets $7, Hero raises to $19, BB calls $12

    Turn: ($49.25) 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $33.25 (All-In)

hand 1: why such a small cbet and pot sized turn bet? I feel you can get as many folds with lower turn bets.

hand 2: i like pre if villains cbet is really high. I like turn given flop

    1) Your sizing is very bizarre and doesn't make much sense if you want to shove turn bet bigger on the flop vs this guy. If you want to bet 3 streets then your flop sizing is fine.

    2) This is a fold preflop 9/10 times.

#1 I let go preflop. Id wait until I get a better idea of his postflop play before I put myself in a potemntially very marginal spot in a 3bet pot oop.

#2 Def fold pre. On flop he doesnt fold overpairs or FDs, hard to say how many bare overs he´s 3betting and cbetting on this board. again Id rather wait until I have a better idea of what he´s actually doing.

1- What is UTG like? Is he likely to come along when you call pre?
Readless I'd 3bet this pre as well and apart from turnsizing I'd play it the same.

2- Pre it could go either way for me between calling and folding because of his small 3bet size. It surprises me he called the flop raise, but I guess as played it's a decent tough call with TP or a small overpair and you still have some outs to those.

    1) like others have said, sizing by street is all messed. As played, I think you still have fold equity with a bet around $22-25ish.

    2) pre is meh, fold. Flop I'd just call. As played, I like the turn jam.

Yeah I forgot to mention I prefer calling flop in hand 2 too.

yeah you accomplish the same thing in hand 1 just betting way less, like 2/3 pot or something. Hand 2 the turn is fine simply because so few flush draws just call that flop and you have outs and f/e against everything else.

Both hands are probably folds pf though.

IF you have access to the deuces cracked vids or the Baluga book he talks alot in his second ghost video about leverage. It's all about bet sizing and FE. I would watch the vid and read the chapter Court, it will clearify all of this.

I fold AJ pre and fold the JT to the raise pre as well

since ther'es a lot of good double barrel cads the sizing on the flop is bad on 1. But if you're not planning on barreling much i really see nothing wrong with it.

I liked the spirit of bluffing on both though! We seem to have lost the craziness around here.
