Default Two marginal hands against same lagtard checkup.

Villain runs 50/24, HM agg% 59/53/51, fold to 3bet 20% over only 250 hands. A little while earlier he 3-bet my UTG raise, cbet 1/3 pot on a K94r flop, which I floated, and led 1/3 again on a 6r turn to which I folded. Before that we played a hand where I raised his small cbet BvB on a 43Tss flop and he folded, and I c/r'ed his small cbet on a K56ss flop which he also folded.

    Stacks:
    UTG ($643.00)
    CO ($400.00)
    BTN ($524.10)
    SB ($789.40)
    Hero ($412.00)

    Pre-flop: ($6, 5 players) Hero is BB
3 folds, SB calls $2, Hero raises to $16, SB calls $12

    Flop: ($32, 2 players)
SB bets $12, Hero raises to $52, SB calls $40

    Turn: ($136, 2 players)
SB bets $44, Hero raises to $132, SB calls $88

    River: ($400, 2 players)
SB bets $192, Hero calls $192
SB shows: 3s 8c <--- results (in white)
I aaaalmost folded the river but decided to call since spades, JT/9T, etc bricked and he was too much of a donk.

Hand 2, this occured not long after. Plan was pretty much to c/c him down, not sure if the overbet should change that? Also I'm not sure about river if he checks the turn back, but I think I'm c/c'ing that as well.

    UTG ($384.00)
    CO ($479.60)
    BTN ($448.90)
    Hero ($850.00)
    BB ($687.50)

    Pre-flop: ($6, 5 players) Hero is SB
2 folds, BTN raises to $16, Hero raises to $56, 1 fold, BTN calls $40

    Flop: ($116, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $68, Hero calls $68

    Turn: ($252, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN goes all-in $324.9, Hero calls $324.9

    yay/nay on both?

    1) seems pretty standard vs this guy

    2) i think knowing the results of #1 would help greatly in making a decision here, since thats the only showdown you had. well actually i guess you won hand 1 since your stack is twice as big. i think this is fine. hes demonstrated that hes willing to be a complete retard.

Is there a risk of him raising if you cbet hand two? If not, i think b/f flop is more +ev and also makes the hand easier to play.

As played i'm folding to his turn overbet. If he was weak he would make another one of those retarded 1/3 pot bets amirite?

I b/f flop on hand 2. Don't like telling him that we can't beat a pair of kings which is what the check call essentially does. Means hands like AK, QQ, KQ and sets can fire away for value and we find it really hard to fold. This is prolly at least A,Q of clubs. Don;t see him jamming a smaller pair like that . Actually now i think bout it I like check raising the flop becuase then we can fold out all worse hands, avoid greyness and shutdown if called, prolly saving some money when he has a king or better.

It's kinda hard to say what he would or wouldn't do, he seems pretty random/erratic.

I haven't seen him do alot of raising, but we haven't played that long today (majority of the hand sample is datamined). I do think there's definitely a risk of him raising a cbet in hand 2 with both hands that I beat and hands I don't, as well as just calling both to trap and to float.

My thinking on the flop is that the majority of his range has no pair, and that his bluffing frequencies will be larger if I check than if I bet. If flop and turn both check through then I can still get in a vb on the river (or continue to bluffcatch if the board goes very bad).

I'm struggling to put the guy on a hand, but can't put him on air either. Out of interest what he have in hand 2, Surely AQ cl?

Thinking bluffs are smaller than this rediculous overbet, looks to me like your hand is face up and he's expecting a call. (If he's not a total retard.)

Also, see results of hand 1, he's obviously a total retard.

I guess when he overbets calling or folding is pretty much a guessing game. I would stack off to 3 smaller barrels by him for sure though, is my thought process way off here?

my call on the river in hand one would be a lolfistpump

hand 2 is close but seems like a call vs this degen

I probably play both the same although I'm happier calling 1 than 2.

Calling versus random button punching donks like this seams like always like a better play than folding in spots like this imo.
